The Cairngorm mountains have for many hundreds of years supplied a beautiful champagne /smokey coloured quartz that has long been highly valued by Jewellers in Scotland and also throughout the world. I visit the mountains once a year to collect the rough stones which are then brought back to my workshop for slabbing, before selecting only the finest material which is then faceted into different shapes and sizes. I also have material which can be cabbed so please get in touch if this form of stone is required.
